We want to be Christians only—not the only Christians. Jesus is Lord, the Bible is our authority, and the Gospel is our hope.
Uncluttered Christianity
Where the Bible speaks, we speak.
Our purpose is not to build another denomination, but to pursue the faith and practice of the New Testament church. We seek unity in essential matters, liberty in opinions, and love in everything.
The Bible
The Bible is inspired by God and is the authoritative standard for faith, truth, and life.
Salvation
Salvation is God’s gift, received through faithful trust in Jesus, repentance, confession, and baptism.
The Lord’s Supper
Every believer is invited to participate as we remember the body and blood of Jesus.
Human life and marriage
Every human life is sacred. Marriage is the covenant union of one man and one woman.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He died for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and reigns as Lord.
Baptism
We practice baptism by immersion in keeping with the teaching of Jesus and the New Testament church.
Church leadership
FCC is locally governed by elders and served by deacons according to the New Testament pattern.
